Here is a Sneak Peek at the 2012 American Heart Association Heartball at the Denver Hyatt. The fund raiser was expected to see close to 600 people this year.
The food again this year was AMAZING!
Derek Evilsizor is an incredible Frank Sinatra impersonator. The looks AND his voice are CRAZY good. Here he is singing with a lovely young lady.

Christine Chang, 7NEWS Anchor, very touched by what the American Heart Association stands for, and how it helps people with heart disease and their families.
“Heartbeat” is a local band that covers old school hip hop. 
The evening included not only a silent auction, but a live auction as well. The goal for the night was to raise over $500,000.

Day 17 – “Water”
Alright, I know that this photo is very “cliche” but seriously, have you ever tried it? Wow this was fun, trying to capture just the right timing!! I took one of the fine Waterford crystal champagne flutes I received as a free gift from Jared, yes, “he went to Jared” and put it on my work table in the basement with a black card table as a backdrop. Then I used my dog’s eye dropper for his prescription eye drops, (I rinsed it out first of course) and my remote shutter release in burst mode… For you techy’s, I was at iso3200, f2.8, 1/1600 second shutter speed.

Ok, so I originally thought this was a weird subject for photo of the day, and in January I already have my hammock taken down, so it was either this, or the couch, where I tend to fall asleep for at least 20 minutes a day.
Day 10 – “Childhood”
This Mickey Mouse doll was bought for me when I visited Disneyland in California at the wee age of 6, so as you can see it’s quite “aged” and much more than I, I must say, it’s still in pretty good shape.
